Award of the Lions Club given by Lions International in Chicago.

Lion Ivonne Figueroa, a very active
member and Past President of New York
Borinquen Lions Club, was awarded her
second Melvin Jones Fellowship Award,
the highest and most prestigious club of
the Lions Club Organization for her
dedication and work in the Club's
community projects.
The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award,
named after the founder of the Lion's Club
Organization is given to club members and
people who work hard and make a great
impact on the community. The award is
presented by Lions Club International
Foundation (LCIF), who helps Lions make
a difference in their in their community and
throughout the world by providing funds
for those in need.
The recipient is presented with a plaque
and a special pin at a dinner party
sponsored by Lions Club International
Foundation (LCIF). If this person receives
this award again, as is Lion Ivonnes case,
the pin is upgraded with a diamond.
Lion Ivonne as well as her partner in
service, Enrique has both received this
award twice.
