The 1st Air Cav wanted to
be Sure Sir Charles was
aware of what unit sent
Charles on to the Great
Beyond.

The Death Cards definitely
delivered the message
Loud and Clear to Sir
Charles.

There where some feeble
attempts by Ring-Knockers
in S-5 to discourage the
use of Death Cards in
country but they never got
anywhere.

Some of the Tango boats
used the cards, the boats
used cards down in IV
Corps (The Delta) and in the
Iron Triangle.

The Kit Carsons said the
death cards made Sir
Charles dinky dau.

If you were in the Cav you
knew when they started to
pass out the Comics and
the Monday Pills, a Eagle
flight was sure to follow,
and it didn't matter if it was
a insert or zippo raid you
knew the **** was going to
hit the fan.

In Country (NAM) was like
the Twilight Zone gone
Berserk!

For all those who "Walked
The Walk and Talked The
Talk" there was only one
goal and that was to get
back to the "World."

Most of the Death Cards
where printed in country
some where cool some
where crude but to Sir
Charles they were all
deadly.

It is almost impossible to
find the Real Deal today,
the nature of Vietnams
climate pretty much
destroyed anything made of
paper.

This is the weapons that Ray carried, They would carry the gun and about 4 belts
of ammo, also each soldier would carry additional belts.
After a month in the "BOONIES" Ray would
get the guys together and head for the
"FLAT LANDS" and Colbert would bring the
beer.
Colbert has a feeling that the
"SHADOW" was very near.
