














| The day started with Bill Kastler reading the law as to disposal of American Flags that are beyond there life, after the reading , all Military and prior Military come to attention, render a salute and civilians are asked to uncover as some flags are set ablaze. Taps are played. The Pocono Record reported that over 1000 flags were disposed of, well they were off by several thousand flags. |
| After the initial ceremony held at the front of the VFW using their charcoal grill the group then moved operations to the rear of the building where several thousand more flags were burned, we used four burning barrels at a time and the heat was so intense that it oven caused everyone to move back. |

| Upon opening the VFW shed it was found that a few years of flags were stored there, Thw group effort really worked there as we disposed of several thousand flags this day. |
