SUPPORT
you local chapter of the
Vietnam Veterans of America
Chapter 678
A couple of times each year the members of
V-V-A-678 can be found at
Bill's Sure Save or
the
Mt. Pocono Wal-Mart doing a can shake
to raise money which is used for the Military
Members at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital.
We have a Summer Carnival and a Christmas
Party where we provide entertainment, games &
snacks for the people in the hospital & nursing
home there. Some may be there for a quick
procedure while others call it home.

While we purchase Canteen Books which are
given out that they can use to buy necessities,
the local area people also help us by making
(
LAP ROBES) or giving small gifts which the
patients win by playing
"Bingo"

BUT
We need your help!
We have limited means of income and are not funded by any Government Agency,
All that we do if from everyday people helping us by
"Donating to Our Causes"

Here Marty Barrett (Army) holding the jug and Joe Clampet (Army) greet people at Bill's Sure
Save exit door.
Here is Tony Fasano (Air Force) checking on
Howard (DOC) Polbos (Marines), Doc is our
strong arm collector, if you don't give money for
his helmet he will start telling you jokes, and he
won't give up until you put money in the helmet.
Tony is telling Doc to go easy on the people.
So next time your out and about and you come
