| A couple of times each year the members of V-V-A-678 can be found at Bill's Sure Save or the Mt. Pocono Wal-Mart doing a can shake to raise money which is used for the Military Members at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital. We have a Summer Carnival and a Christmas Party where we provide entertainment, games & snacks for the people in the hospital & nursing home there. Some may be there for a quick procedure while others call it home. While we purchase Canteen Books which are given out that they can use to buy necessities, the local area people also help us by making (LAP ROBES) or giving small gifts which the patients win by playing "Bingo" BUT We need your help! |

| SO, Who are the people who make up the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 678? We are your friends and neighbors in the local communities who give of their time doing a Can Shake at Bill's Sure Save Market in Mt. Pocono Wal-Mart of Mt. Pocono or Coupon Days at BON-TON'S in the Stroud Mall. |
