The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall USA website is dedicated to honoring those who died in the Vietnam
War. Since it first went on line in 1996 it has evolved into something more. It is now also a place of healing for
those affected by one of the most divisive wars in our nation's history
.
"If you are able, save
for them a place inside
of you and save one
backward glance when
you are leaving for the
places they can no
longer go.
Be not ashamed to say
you loved them,
though you may or may
not have always. Take
what they have taught
you with their dying
and keep it with your
own.

And in that time when
men decide and feel
safe to call the war
insane, take one
moment to embrace
those gentle heroes
you left behind.

WHAT IS THE OFFICIAL
NAME OF THE
MEMORIAL?

"The official name of
the Memorial is the
Vietnam Veterans
Memorial.
It is sometimes
referred to as VVM or
"the Wall". The figures
are called "The Three
Servicemen".

This is not a war
Memorial but a
Memorial to those who
served in the war,
both living and dead.
The Wall has become a place
where Veterans, Families and the
public can connect with their
Friends and in most cases, their
Family Members.

Pictured here is Raymond Russo
looking at the entry for his
Brother, knowing Ray I can tell you
that this is very hard for him, his
brother was KIA  on May 31st, 1968,
Ray joined the Army and signed up
to go to Vietnam to avenge his
death even though he would have
been exempt from going to
Vietnam. Want to know more, ask
Ray.

Pictured below are photo's of Joe
Clampet making a tracing of one of
